Key Responsibilities
Client Portfolio Management:
Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, including high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs (EIS/SEIS/VCT), landlords, self-employed individuals, dual residents, and non-domiciled individuals.
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring excellent client service and satisfaction.
Tax Compliance and Advisory:
Handle HMRC enquiries, disclosures, and 60-day CGT returns.
Provide expert advice on Inheritance Tax (IHT), Capital Gains Tax (CGT), trusts, property holding structures, taxation of employee share awards/options, and taxation of internationally mobile individuals.
Collaboration and Leadership:
Report to the Director and senior management, maintaining autonomy over daily responsibilities.
Review work prepared by junior staff, providing feedback and ensuring accuracy.
Mentor and support team members to develop their technical expertise.
Participate in meetings and calls with prospective clients to provide insights and secure business.
Job Requirements :
Qualifications:
Qualified by experience or a certified member of the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) or Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT).
Skills:
Strong technical knowledge of Personal Tax, including compliance and advisory services.
Proven experience managing client portfolios effectively.
Excellent communication skills to build strong client relationships.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
